Welcome to DOSTHADDA! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use DOSTHADDA.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use DOSTHADDA.
  • Both Hire A Friend (HAF – Customers) and Become A Friend (BAF – Service Providers) must provide valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving License) for verification.
  • By registering, you confirm that the information provided is true, accurate, and complete.
  • Fake profiles, impersonation, or misrepresentation of identity are strictly prohibited.

2. User Conduct

  • Users must behave respectfully towards others and follow a zero-tolerance policy against harassment, abuse, threats, or unsafe behavior.
  • All services on DOSTHADDA are strictly platonic. Any attempt at intimacy, sexual activity, or inappropriate conduct is prohibited.
  • Users must not share or upload explicit, offensive, or illegal content.
  • Scams, fraud, and solicitation of money outside the platform are prohibited.
  • Violation may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

3. Services & Restrictions

DOSTHADDA offers companionship services limited to the 15 approved categories (Support, Movies, Walks, Fitness, Events, Study Buddy, Pet Walking, etc.).

All interactions must take place in safe, lawful, and public places only.

Prohibited services and actions include:

  • Meeting in private homes or private spaces.
  • Alcohol-related activities.
  • Overnight stays or private travel.

Any violation will lead to immediate termination and may be reported to authorities.

4. Payments, Fees & Cancellations

  • All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. DOSTHADDA does not store card or banking details.
  • DOSTHADDA charges a commission of ₹50 or 10% of the service fee, whichever is higher, per confirmed booking.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation by either HAF (Customer) or BAF (Service Provider) will attract a cancellation fee plus transaction charges.
  • Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable fees.
  • Fraudulent financial activity will result in account termination and may be reported to authorities.

5. User Safety & Reporting

  • Age verification and ID proof are mandatory for all users.
  • A reporting system is available to flag inappropriate behavior, harassment, fake accounts, or unsafe activities.
  • DOSTHADDA reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts violating safety rules.
  • DOSTHADDA may share details with government authorities if required for investigations or legal compliance.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • DOSTHADDA is not responsible for personal disagreements or outcomes of user interactions.
  • DOSTHADDA may act as a mediator only if requested by government or legal authorities.
  • Disputes will first attempt resolution via mediation/arbitration where possible.
  • Any unresolved disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Nandikotkur, Kurnool, or as determined by government authority.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

  • All user data is collected, stored, and processed according to our Privacy Policy.
  • Sensitive personal data (gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical details) is collected only with explicit consent and may be restricted by users.
  • Users acknowledge that by using the Platform, their information may be processed for verification, safety, and service delivery.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The DOSTHADDA name, logo, brand, app design, and content are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of our branding, content, or services is strictly prohibited.
  • Users may not exploit the Platform for commercial use without prior written approval.

9. Marketing & Promotions

  • By using DOSTHADDA, users agree to receive promotional content, updates, and event invitations from DOSTHADDA.
  • These communications may be sent via email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messaging Apps or in-app notifications, irrespective of user settings.

10. Termination of Accounts

  • DOSTHADDA reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at its sole discretion.
  • Serious violations (harassment, fraud, unsafe conduct, prohibited activities) may lead to immediate termination without notice.
  • Terminated users may be permanently banned from re-registering on the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • DOSTHADDA is only a facilitator of services between users and does not guarantee outcomes of interactions.
  • Users are solely responsible for their actions, conduct, and any consequences arising before, during, or after a booking.
  • DOSTHADDA shall not be held liable for personal, financial, emotional, or legal damages resulting from use of the Platform.
  • In case of government investigation, DOSTHADDA will fully cooperate and provide required information.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be notified via email or app notifications. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
